How it works

The calculator uses the density of your chosen material and the geometry you enter to compute part volume and weight. Sheet: length × width × thickness; round: π/4 × diameter² × thickness; tube: π/4 × (outer² − inner²) × length. If a reference unit price is defined for the material it also shows a rough material cost; you do not enter the unit price — the exact price is set in the quote.
