5-axis machining lets a part be machined from multiple faces and angles in one setup. This removes the cumulative error of many setups; complex contours, inclined surfaces and deep pockets are produced in one pass with a high surface finish.
We run our vertical machining centre in 5 axes with an integrated rotary table, and for large, heavy parts we use mill-turn machining centres that do 5-axis milling + turning in a single setup. A rigid double-column vertical machining centre covers high-volume parts.
Designed for aerospace brackets, engine components, fixtures and mould parts, this capability is completed single-source with cutting, machining and CMM inspection.
