We produce parts from critical alloys such as titanium, Inconel and 7075 with no heat distortion or micro-crack risk, using a cold cutting process.
In aerospace and defence parts, the metallurgical structure of the material is as critical as the fatigue life of the part itself. Because waterjet is a cold cutting process it forms no heat-affected zone (HAZ); the grain structure, hardness and fatigue behaviour of titanium, Inconel and high-strength aluminium alloys stay intact.
Complex internal pocketed lattice panels, bracket families and thin-walled geometries are cut in a single piece, burr-free and with square edges. This reduces the need for post heat-treatment correction and secondary machining.
We work under NDA on confidential projects and provide material traceability (lot-based tracking) on request. On work that may be export-controlled we run the process with awareness of the relevant regulations.
